How to Access Services or Get Help

Community members in need of help, or if they know a child, youth, or family in need of support, are encouraged to reach out for available services.

North Eastern Ontario Family and Children’s Services (NEOFACS) has a team of professionals dedicated to accepting all referrals pertaining to:

  • Child Protection
  • Child & Youth Mental Health
  • Family Preservation
  • Triple P (as well as other groups)
  • Mobile Crisis
  • Record Disclosure
  • Foster Care, Kin in Care and Out of Care

Our Intake team can answer your questions, guide you through the referral process or steer you to other agencies or services in the community that can best meet your needs.

Referral Forms for Child and Youth Mental Health Services

To make a referral for Child and Youth Mental Health Services, you can download a referral form below, which can be completed by professionals, family and friends, or individuals (child or youth) seeking services. Alternatively, you can call us to speak with an Intake worker.

Once we receive the completed referral form, our team will review it to ensure that all required information has been provided. Together we will find a service plan that works best for you.

All requests for Counselling and Therapy Services are offered a Single Session as the first step to these services.

The F.W. Schumacher (FWS) Live-In Treatment Program operates as a staff model live-in treatment service within a therapeutic milieu for children and youth between the ages of 12-15 years who reside in the Districts of Cochrane and Timiskaming.
