The Kiwanis Club of Timmins is a Service Club that has been raising funds for the children of Timmins since 1923. Their objective is to support child and youth activities, support children with special needs and provide community service.

On August 16, 2018, they generously donated $3,000 to the North Eastern Ontario Children’s Foundation, in support of providing summer camping opportunities to children and youth in the Timmins area who are either in foster care, receiving child protection or mental health services, or whose parents cannot afford to send their children to camp.

The North Eastern Ontario Children’s Foundation is committed to improving the lives of children and youth throughout the districts of Cochrane and Timiskaming by supporting them in experiences that would otherwise be unattainable.
