North Eastern Ontario Family and Children’s Services (NEOFACS) is beginning an important process to develop a new strategic plan that will guide our work over the coming years.
At NEOFACS, we know meaningful planning starts with listening. The experience and insight of the people who deliver our programs, the children, youth, and families we serve, and the partners who work alongside us across the Cochrane and Timiskaming districts are essential to understanding where we go next.
This process is a chance to reflect on the work already underway, name what's changed in our communities, and shape a shared vision for child welfare, child and youth mental health, and family support services across the region.
Why Your Voice Matters
People who access our services, staff who deliver them, and partners who work alongside us each bring a different vantage point. Your input will help us understand:
- What's working well right now
- Where there are gaps or barriers
- How NEOFACS can keep evolving to better support children, youth, and families
Opportunities to Participate
- Virtual Town Halls: Join a facilitated conversation with others who share your role or connection to NEOFACS.
- Key Person Interviews: A smaller number of one-on-one conversations for people with particular insight into NEOFACS or the sector.
- Online Survey: If a town hall doesn't fit your schedule, the survey is open to everyone and takes about 10–15 minutes.
