Community Angel Campaign

We are excited to invite you to be part of our Community Angel Campaign, which is our biggest fundraising event of the year that supports the many diverse children, youth, and families we work with to celebrate their unique and special holidays.

The holidays are a time for creating lifelong memories. For children, youth, and families facing financial hardships, the holiday season can be particularly challenging. That’s why we invite you to join us to help give gifts to those in need. Together, we can make sure everyone has a memorable holiday!

Annual Holiday Gift Drive in Support of Local Children and Youth

Each year, with support from the North Eastern Ontario Children’s Foundation, North Eastern Ontario Family and Children's Services (NEOFACS) provides gifts to children, youth and families within our communities. NEOFACS receives wish lists of children and youth from families that need assistance throughout the holiday season!

Our dedicated team of staff and volunteers work with our generous community sponsors to fulfill the wishes of the children, youth and families we work with. Donations remain in our respective communities.

If you would like to help with the Community Angel Campaign, let us start by saying THANK YOU! Your contribution to the annual campaign will help children, youth and families right here in our community.

Here’s how you can be a part of it:

Sponsor a child/youth or a family. We will send you the profile of a child/youth and their wish list for you to make the purchases. This is a great opportunity to get your loved ones, family, and friends involved, as you come together to spread kindness and generosity to someone in need. In the end, that’s what the holidays are all about!
Host a Toy Drive/Gift Drive or Fundraiser. Gather some gifts/toys or funds that we will use to fill our wish lists.
Make a financial contribution. Leave the shopping to us! We accept donations made by cash, cheque made out to “North Eastern Ontario Children’s Foundation”, or via the campaign's CanadaHelps.org online donation form.

NEOFACS staff, with help from volunteers, run the program every year. With the amazing generosity of community members like you, together we help over 1,000 children and youth throughout the Districts of Cochrane and Timiskaming!

We believe that it takes a community to care for children, and we want families to know that they are not alone. Whether you’re a first-time donor or a longtime supporter, you are a vital part of creating holiday magic for those who need it most in our community.
