ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Full-time Position in Cochrane
As a member of the Clerical team, the Administrative Assistant will provide administrative and clerical support services to the Agency and its programs. Your primary responsibilities will be to provide clerical support through data entry functions, formatting documents, forms and reports, schedule, attend and take notes for departmental meetings, perform receptionist duties and other duties as assigned. With demonstrated flexibility, the Administrative Assistants perform tasks and functions in an organized, timely and professional manner, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the Agency.
JOB REQUIREMENTS (QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS):
• Post-secondary education in an Office Administration Program or equivalent education, training and work experience. Previous work experience in office administration is an asset.
• Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to provide courteous and confidential customer service.
• Exceptional communications and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, self-motivation and problem-solving skills with the ability of setting priorities.
• Bilingualism (English/French) is required.
• Candidates must possess a minimum G2 driver’s license at the time of application and be willing to obtain a valid G Class driver’s license as a condition of employment or already possess a valid G Class driver’s license and have access to their own vehicle.
