North Eastern Ontario Family and Children’s Services (NEOFACS) would like to extend heartfelt appreciation for the continued commitment and support of our children, youth and families to those who participated in the 2019 Christmas Angel Campaign!
With the help of our generous community of donors, we were able to make the holiday season a little brighter for more than 300 families and independent youth, which included nearly 1,000 children and youth throughout the Districts of Cochrane and Timiskaming.
We remain incredibly grateful to the numerous community business partners, individuals, groups and organizations who donated towards the campaign this year. Throughout the region, we raised more than $20,000 in cash and gift cards, and collected countless toys for children and youth.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to everyone who generously donated gifts through our Angel Tree program or hosted toy drives and fundraiser events in your communities, schools and businesses.
We also want to take a moment to recognize our volunteers and staff for all of their hard work collecting, sorting, wrapping and distributing gifts. Your contributions meant so much to so many families. Truly, our reward is the smiles on the faces of children.
Once again, the spirit of the holidays was realized through the thoughtfulness and generosity of many. The Christmas Angel Campaign is about more than gifts under the tree; it's about providing families with support and hope during the holidays.
